This Privacy Policy explains how PepVault (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform at pepvault.com. By using PepVault, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account information: When you create a PepVault account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (such as a display name).
Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with PepVault, including pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform. This data is used to improve the product.
Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. PepVault does not store your credit card number or payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment data.
Communications: If you contact us via email or support channels, we retain those communications to respond to your inquiry and improve our support.
To provide and operate the PepVault platform and its features.
To process your subscription and manage your account.
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts).
To send product updates and educational content, if you have opted in. You may opt out at any time.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share data with the following service providers solely to operate PepVault: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and analytics providers. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data only as directed by us.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of users.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Usage and analytics data may be retained in anonymized form for longer periods for product improvement purposes.
PepVault uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication (to keep you logged in) and analytics (to understand how the platform is used). We do not use advertising cookies or sell your browsing data.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect certain functionality such as staying logged in.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@pepvault.com.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database storage, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.
PepVault is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete the account and associated data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of PepVault after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
