Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide derived from the pineal gland extract Epithalamin. It's the only known compound shown in research to activate telomerase and lengthen telomeres in human cells — the fundamental mechanism of cellular aging. Russian scientists have studied it for over 35 years with remarkable longevity outcomes.
Generally very well tolerated
Mild injection site reactions
Vivid dreams (some users)
Running it continuously instead of in 10–20 day intensive cycles — all the Russian longevity research used the cycle protocol
Under-dosing below 5 mg/day — effects are dose-dependent in the available research
Expecting noticeable short-term effects — this is a long-game compound; benefits are cumulative over years of consistent cycling
Melatonin — synergistic for circadian regulation and sleep architecture improvement
Thyroid medications — Epithalon may modestly affect thyroid function; monitor TSH during cycles
No known adverse drug interactions in current literature
Epithalon has the deepest longevity research of any peptide in this index — 35+ years of Russian studies showing telomerase activation, improved immune function, and reduced all-cause mortality. Two cycles per year (10–20 days at 5–10 mg/day) is the most-studied protocol. Don't expect dramatic short-term effects; this is the most long-horizon compound in the index.
