Who It's For

PCT after anabolic use

Prostate cancer

Precocious puberty

Endometriosis

How It Works

Triptorelin is a potent GnRH agonist FDA-approved for prostate cancer and precocious puberty. In performance contexts, a single low dose is used for post-cycle therapy (PCT) to trigger a powerful LH surge and restart the HPG axis. It has largely replaced clomid/nolvadex in many advanced PCT protocols.

Side Effects

01

Temporary testosterone suppression after single dose before recovery

02

Hot flashes

03

GI upset

04

Depression (with chronic use)

Common Mistakes

Using the depot (monthly) form for PCT — the depot causes prolonged suppression of 3–6 months; only the short-acting form is appropriate for PCT

Timing it incorrectly — start Triptorelin PCT 2 weeks after the last long-ester anabolic compound clears; timing relative to clearance is critical

Not understanding the initial testosterone flare — the first dose triggers a significant LH surge and testosterone spike before the agonist effect kicks in

Drug & Supplement Interactions

GnRH antagonists — counterproductive; do not combine

Long-ester testosterone — timing the last injection correctly before PCT is critical for proper clearance

Antiandrogens — sometimes used clinically with the first dose to manage the testosterone flare in prostate cancer; not typically needed in PCT use

The PepVault Take

Single-dose Triptorelin PCT (100–200 mcg short-acting) has replaced clomid/nolvadex protocols for many advanced users due to its reliable HPG axis restart via the initial LH surge. Critical point: only use the short-acting form. The depot version creates months of testosterone suppression — the exact opposite of what PCT requires.
